![]() In-service dates for Future Lynx are 2013 for the British Army and 2014 for the Royal Navy. The British Army's Battlefield Reconnaissance Helicopters (BRH) and the Royal Navy's Surface Combatant Maritime Rotorcraft (SCMR), Future Lynx's new airframes, will utilize L-3 WESCAM's long-range electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) technology to support maritime, battlefield reconnaissance, and combat missions. System deliveries are slated to begin late in 2009 and will continue through 2014. ![]() L-3 Communications' WESCAM (L-3 WESCAM) subsidiary has been selected by Agusta Westland to provide 56 MX-15Di turrets as the Electro-Optical Laser Designator system for the United Kingdom's Future Lynx program.
